Direct Short Breaks

Our new Direct Short Breaks service is a continuation of that pioneering tradition. Using the latest internet and mobile phone technology, KIDS Direct Short Breaks enables parents to access a Short Break service through a secure, easy to use website. The service links parents to fully trained, enhanced Criminal Records Bureau checked workers who can deliver positive, inclusive experiences for children and young people while their parents take a break.

In short, Direct Short Breaks puts parents in the driving seat, enabling them to meet the challenges of family life while giving their Disabled child or young person the opportunity to access new experiences and benefit from KIDS’ passion for inclusion.
