KIDS Direct Short Breaks

For Children & Young People

TrainWhat do you want to do today?

The people who work for KIDS Direct Short Breaks are there to spend time with you. We want to provide you with someone who is there to be with you and support you in doing the things you like to do, and perhaps even help you to try a few new things as well!

Maybe, for example, you’d like to go to the local Play Activity Centre or Playscheme, or perhaps just do something relaxing and fun at home?

Or maybe you’d like to go to the cinema, chat and watch the world go by in a relaxing café, or hit the shops? If you’re old enough, you might even fancy going to the pub!

It’s all up to you!

How you spend your short break is up to you, and with the help of your parent or carer, you can use our website to request a KIDS Short Break Worker to come to see you at a time that suits you.

SarahYou can even look through profiles for our Short Break Workers in your area to find someone who’s just right for you. You could even meet with different workers depending on what activities you want to do. We don’t mind!

Make sure the worker is right for you by taking a look at their profile.

Questions?

No doubt you’ve got questions. Why not take a look through our Frequently Asked Questions to see if we’ve already got it covered? If we haven’t, then please let us know.

What are you waiting for?

If this sounds like just the thing for you, then please tell mum, dad, or whoever is responsible for your care all about us and ask them to book you (and them) a Short Break! This website has all the information they’ll need to get started, and we’re only a phone call or an email away if you need us.
